Acknowledging the conflicts

Veterinarians are usually viewed as good-hearted people who genuinely care about the wellbeing of their patients and are compassionate to the animal’s owners.  It has been observed, however, that veterinary commitment to animal welfare and professional ethics can conflict with other interests- particularly economic ones.
